The Lamar County Trojans closed out the regular season last week with a 54-0 blowout of the Crawford County Eagles but the sledding gets much tougher this week when the Cook County Hornets come to town for a first round playoff game Friday at Trojan Field.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
Shredders:
Twin brothers Lawrence Austin (16) and Lance Austin (14) make up the dynamic duo for the Trojans. Lawrence, a running back, and Lance, the quarterback, shred opposing defenses with their speed.
They are also shutdown cornerbacks and are legitimate Division 1 college recruits at that position. The twins hope to shred Cook County this Friday in the first round of the GHSA state playoffs.
