Matthew Dyal of Milner, an Army trainee at Fort Huachuca, Ariz., for about six months, says military service “is what you make it – I find it’s something different every day and I like that.”
Dyal recently visited his parents, Fay Dyal and Mike and Sandy Dyal, and grandparents Wesley and Betty Wilson, in Milner.
Enjoying the holidays with his family in Milner, Matthew Dyal (left) is returning to Fort Huachuca, Ariz., for advanced Army intelligence training. His mother Fay Dyal (right) created a banner to let him know that local folks appreciate his and others’ military service. Matthew stands next to his fiancee, Katie Kosares of Miami, who is taking the same training at the Arizona post. Both describe the U.S. Army as “something new every day” and say the training is intense. Matthew is the grandson of MIlner city council member Betty Wilson and Wesley Wilson, former water authority chairman.
