Organizers and scores of volunteers are finalizing plans for the 2013 BBQ & Blues Festival which will be held here April 25-28.
The event begins with the traditional After Hours at United Bank on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. This event will include the golf cart decorating contest.
Festival favorites, The Melflames, will open the main event concert at the 2013 BBQ & Blues Festival on Saturday, April 27.
The Melflames are (l-r) Roger McLeod of Barnesville, Jimmy Wright, Bobby Nelson and Tripp Wright. Nelson is from Eastman and the Wrights are a father and son musical duo who call Milledgeville home.
