Monroe sheriff issues area scam alert

Monroe County sheriff John Cary Bittick is urging area residents to be aware of a scam discovered by Monroe County Sheriff’s Office deputies on March 4, 2013. According MCSO Investigators, deputies stopped a gray-colored 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 with a raised wooden bed and the words “Continental Logistics” with a phone number (800-479-3185) lettered on the side of the truck.
