Smoke permeates Barnesville
Where's all the smoking coming from? City officials reported Saturday the smoke in Barnesville was due to a controlled burn Friday that drifted into the area. Many residents woke up to the smell of smoke inside their houses and smoky conditions outside.

I thought my house was on fire. The smoke was strong. Glad it was nothing serious.

Where was this controlled burn? Legacy Park...from the awful Piedmont Green Power Plant that has been burning for months.
