As I sipped coffee and slowly brought my brain to life on the second morning of the Daylight Saving Time period, I began pondering the whole notion of messing with our clocks - both inner and outer. Maybe I am just older and grumpier but I hate the time change.

Very interesting history lesson. I wondered how this torture began. I don't have a preference, I just want it to stay the same. I don't adjust to the change very well.

DST is a useless hold over with no definitive benefit. We'd all benefit from abandoning it and keeping the same "clock' through the whole year.
