I know I already commented, but I really have to commend the Sheriff again on this line of action. The above comment really shows a commitment to the security and safety of the community and to respecting the right to keep and bear arms.
I work in law enforcement and attended several classes with the former Mjr. Piper of the Barnesville Police Department. We never can have too much training and any additional should always be welcomed. Thank you Brad!
Great idea! Who better to offer gun safety training. I will sign up. One more thing--PLEASE try to have some time that civilians can regularly use a new range. If you live in town without any acrage in the countryside there is nowhere to safely (legally)shoot without going to a gun range in Macon or Fayetteville. And, of course, regular practice is necessary for safe gun use.
