2010 FINAL ELECTION RESULTS District 1 Commission Bennie Horton: 175 Eric Shropshire: 150 District 2 Commission George Brown: 210 Charles Glass: 370 School Board At-Large Ryran Traylor: 861 Danny Turner: 1087 In other races of interest: House district 125: Susan Holmes defeated Mary Alice Carter 118-78 in Lamar. With a smattering of advance ballots in Monroe County not counted, Holmes led 2897-1914 districtwide and has won this race. House district 126: David Knight trounced Bill Mauldin 472-122 in Lamar, held a 2937-853 lead districtwide with 99% of votes counted and has won this race. House district 127: With only a few votes left to be counted, Maddox led Price 3356-2126 districtwide and has won this race. Governor: Karen Handel and Eric Johnson were the top two in Lamar on the Republican ticket. Roy Barnes won big here on the Democratic ballot.
