The second annual Dewaine T. Bell Memorial Chili Cook Off will be held in the high school cafeteria Thursday, Oct. 29. The time is set from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. but last year the cook off sold out of chili in the first hour. The event will raise funds for the Career Technical Agriculture Education department for field trips, competitions and classroom supplies. Trophies, ribbons and bragging rights will be awarded for best tasting, spiciest and best table decoration with judges from Griffin RESA. The most popular prize will go for the chili with the most tickets collected.
