Henry Abreu, who ingested a quantity of meth during a drug raid at his Stafford Avenue home in Barnesville March 31, was arrested Friday after checking himself out of a Thomaston nursing home’s hospice facility, according to Lt. He had called someone to pick him up but deputies arrived first and took him into custody. Abreu faces charges of trafficking in meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of meth, possession of drug related objects, possession of marijuana, tampering with evidence and obstruction of an officer.
