There seems to be no shortage of people who are willing to drive to Griffin to ‘˜eat mor chiken’!Those hungry people may not have to drive so far much longer. Starting this past Saturday Chick-fil-A has opened up a trailer kiosk in the parking lot of Akin’s Farm & Home. According to marketing manager Janice Neville, “We asked Akins if we could set up because a lot of Barnesville folks can’t get to Griffin on their lunch breaks.”With a reduced menu of little more than a Chick-fil-A sandwich and lemonade Neville adds, “if things go well we’ll certainly add another day here at Akins; maybe Wednesdays.”Sales reportedly surpassed 250 sandwiches.
