Some 16 months after his alleged victim was shot and killed, alleged killer Jacob Benjamin Craft, 42, was indicted by the June term Lamar County grand jury.
Craft will be arraigned in Lamar superior court before Judge Tommy Wilson Aug. 6 on charges of murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and three counts possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
The charges stem from the Feb. 4, 2025 shooting death of Willie Floyd Perdue, 55. Craft allegedly shot Perdue multiple times with a 10 mm. handgun following a confrontation in front of Perdue’s home at 227 Warner Road here.
