Judge Bill Fears denied bond for alleged killer Philip Foster at a hearing held in Butts County superior court. Foster is charged with beating a Barnesville man to death. Foster, 34, is charged with malice murder in connection with the Feb. 28 murder of 45-year-old William (Bubba) Milner at Eagle Truck Wash off I-75 in Butts County – just over the Lamar County line. Foster allegedly beat Milner to death with a two by four for $100 in the truck wash cash register. At the hearing, district attorney Richard Milam argued there was a high probability of Foster harming additional people and intimidating witnesses.
