The emaciated dog was found alive but later died of malnutrition. Jamarris Latuan Williams, 20, is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals and abandoning a dog. Sheriff’s investigator Lara Clark said the dog was very friendly and much loved by trustees at the jail who cared for it prior to its death.
