Alleged killer seeks bond reduction

A 23-year-old Albany man charged with killing an Ellenwood teenager and dumping her body here last year will be in court Feb. 1 seeking a reduction in bond.

Jaylan Jashad Ray is charged with murder and aggravated assault. He allegedly shot 17-year-old D’Shunti Kyanni Hunter multiple times. Her body was found in Unionville Cemetery off High Falls Park Road on Jan. 10, 2021.

Ray’s current bond is $1 million.
