Alleged killer Williams has bond hearing

A bond hearing will be held April 19 in Lamar superior court for Jamarris Latuan (Man) Williams who is charged in connection with the March 15 murder of Barnesville taxi service owner John Dixson. It is highly unlikely Williams, 23, will be granted bond. He is charged with felony murder with malice aforethought. Dixson was stabbed in the throat and left to die in a gully off Forsyth-Yatesville Road in extreme southeast Lamar County. Williams was quickly identified as the prime suspect and was taken in for questioning before Dixson’s body was found.
