Three men charged with the Dec. 5, 2010 home invasion murder of a Gordon College student have been offered plea deals and have until Jan. 5 to decide whether to accept them. Meanwhile, court clerk Frank Abbott is preparing to call 225 traverse jurors to try them should they decide to face juries of their peers.Lekievius Eleby, 22, Bryce Arsenio Smith, 21, and Shameik Spinks, 18, face maximum sentences of life without parole plus 105 years in prison. They were in Lamar superior court for preliminary hearings Monday. All three are charged with two counts felony murder, armed robbery, burglary, two counts aggravated assault, three counts false imprisonment, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and tampering with evidence.
