Alleged serial arsonist granted bond

Alleged serial arsonist Travis Ball was granted bond in Lamar superior court Wednesday. Judge Tommy Wilson granted Ball a cash bond in the amount of $20,000. According to LCSO investigator Todd Pippin, Ball will just be changing barred residences if he makes the bond. “If he bonds out here, he will just go to Upson County where he has been denied bond,” Pippin said Thursday morning. Ball was arrested early January 8 after two fires were set in Upson County. He has been formally charged with one arson here with multiple additional charges pending.
