A Collier Road man was charged with DUI after he and three passengers narrowly escaped death when he pulled in front of a Norfolk Southern freight train here last week.Charles Reynolds, 38, of 414 Collier Road was southbound on Crawford Road when he pulled onto the tracks and his car was struck at 1:20 p.m. August 4. The 1998 Toyota Camry was pushed 367 feet down the tracks.Reynolds was driving with a suspended license. He was also charged with failure to yield to a train and DUI (drugs) pending toxicology results.
