Mrs. Annie Ruth Lawrence, 76, of 122 Westchester, transitioned on Thursday at her residence. Annie Ruth is survived by one daughter, Linda F. Lawrence of Barnesville, Ga.; three sons (Ret.) CPO Charlie Lawrence and his wife Janese of Sachse, Texas, (Ret.) MSGT. Rickey Lawrence and his wife Julie of Sandy Springs, Ga. and CWO2 Tony Lawrence and his wife, Shalonda of Sasebo, Japan; a step-daughter Shirley A. (James) Chapman of Griffin, Ga.; a brother and sister, Mr. Dave Brantley Jr. and Ms. Mable Brantley, both of Barnesville, Ga; a special grandson, Mr. Brandon A. Lawrence of Barnesville, Ga.; two special nieces, Ms. Jeannie Brantley and Ikia Richardson both of Barnesville, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Mr. James (Carilyn) Lawrence of Milner, Ga.; five sisters-in-law, Ms. Geneva Lawrence of Milner, Mildred (Winston) Keaton of Vienna, Ga., Elizabeth (Billy) Passmore of Miami, Florida, Doris Barker and Dollie Leaks of Atlanta, Ga.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends who all will miss her presence. Professional services was held on Thursday 1 p.m. at the Sardis Missionary Baptist Church. Rev Broderick K. Combs officiated and interment was in the church cemetery. Trice Funeral Home Inc. of Barnesville is in charge of all professional services.
