Within three hours of posting the article below the owner of the dog was connected with the “foster parent.” Thank you to everyone who helped make this connection. ——————————————————– In light of recent issues with the animal control center more and more lost and found dogs are being reported to local news agencies. In order to serve our community we are listing those strays in an effort to reunite them with their owners or find them a new home. Most recently a pit bull without a tag was found wondering around the area across from the Barnesville Animal Clinic. It was just outside the Carriage Trace subdivision and in the parking lot of First Assembly. The closest neighbors had never seen the dog and as of now it is being “fostered” until an owner can be found.
