Lamar County was up to 18 confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of the noon Monday case count report released by DPH. Statewide, there have been 13,315 confirmed cases with 2589 hospitalizations and 464 deaths. Surrounding counties: Pike: 18 Upson: 61 – 2 deaths. The latest was an 80-year-old male. Monroe: 12 – 1 death. Butts: 30 Spalding: 75 – 4 deaths.
