Lamar County remained at 21 confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of the noon Thursday case count report. (The numbers were released much earlier today (9:10 a.m.) for some reason.) Statewide there have been 15,454 confirmed cases with 3040 hospitalizations and 584 deaths. Surrounding counties: Pike: 26 – 1 death. Upson: 139 – 5 deaths. Monroe: 14 – 1 death. Butts: 37 Spalding: 97 – 5 deaths.
