Lamar County remained at 21 confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of the noon Friday case count report by DPH.Statewide there have been 17,194 cases with 3324 hospitalizations and 650 deaths.Surrounding counties:Pike: 29 cases – 1 death.Upson: 162 cases – 8 deaths. The two latest are a 70-year-old female and a 61-year-old male. It is unknown if either had underlying conditions.Monroe: 15 cases – 1 death.Butts: 40 cases.Spalding 119 cases – 5 deaths
