By Walter GeigerA local man charged with robbing the B&L Convenience Store at gunpoint here January 11 is trading his Lamar County jail outfit for prison duds.Antonio Travis Goddard entered a guilty plea to one count of armed robbery in Lamar superior court June 21 and was sentenced by Judge Tommy Wilson to 12 years in prison.Other charges against Goddard were dismissed. They included two counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.Goddard spent the two weeks following the robbery on the run before he was captured in Spalding County on January 26.
