Between Saturday, August 22 and Monday, August 31, the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests:Dustin Boggs, 21, 1569 Bogota Way, Jonesboro, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Jevious Forbes, 18, 1603 Springchase Dr., Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Xavier Walker, 21, 339 Cenie Rd., Flovilla, disorderly conduct;Quanterious Sidney, 23, 235A Cenie Rd., Flovilla, possession of firearms by a convicted felon;Marvin Jordan, 42, 209 Chaffin St., Barnesville, simple battery;Kendriana Taylor, 18, 107 Jackson St., theft by taking/auto;Daiquavious Taylor, 19, 107 Taylor St., theft by taking/auto;Antonzia Holmes, 18, 952 Willow Wind Cir., disorderly conduct;Shanna Conrad, 26, 952 Willow Wind Cir., disorderly conduct.There were 219 calls for service including, eight fights, three animal complaints, 39 security checks, one theft, five loud music, one subject with firearm, 22 foot patrols, 17 suspicious persons/vehicles, two speeding, nine accidents, 19 escorts, seven alarms, three damage to property, one harassing phone call, three wanted/stolen. There were 20 citations issued including, two possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, one expired tag, one driving on suspended license, one no insurance, one failure to maintain lane, one failure to stop at stop sign, two speeding, one window violation, one simple battery, three fights, one disorderly, three obstructions and two no thru trucks.
