Arrests made in Liberty Technology burglary

On February 18, 2014, the Griffin Police Department arrested Joseph Love, Ke’onta Deon Glass and a juvenile all from Griffin, Georgia in connection with two burglaries that were committed at Liberty Technology located at 120 E. Taylor St. in downtown Griffin, Georgia over the past weekend. All three suspects have been charged with one count of burglary. The two adults are being held at the Spalding County jail. Over the weekend Officers from the Griffin Police Department responded to two separate reports of burglary at Liberty Technology. The first occurred early Saturday morning on February 15, 2014. The second burglary was reported on Monday morning February 17, 2014. During both incidents several electronic items such as iPads and laptop computers were stolen. The scene was processed by GPD Crime Scene Investigators at which time they were able to develop leads that ultimately lead them to two of the suspects. During the investigation that was led by Sgt. Sommer Bales and Inv. Chip Johns with the assistance of several other members of the Criminal Investigations Division, they were able to recover some of the stolen items and identify a third suspect who was later picked up and interviewed by Investigators. As result of the investigation Joseph Love of 806 Pamela Drive and the Juvenile were charged with the burglary committed on February 15, 2014 and both Love and the Juvenile along with Ke’onta Glass of 328 N. 2nd Street, Griffin, Georgia were charged with the second burglary committed on February 17, 2014.
