Ask Perdue for help in Johnson case

Gov. Sonny Perdue will be in Barnesville October 2 for a prayer breakfast. No local issue deserves more prayerful consideration than the Donna Ogletree Johnson murder case. Donna’s sister Becky Peterman has written Perdue directly to no avail. Thus far she has also been ignored by Sen. Saxby Chambliss, Sen. Ronnie Chance and state representatives Jim Cole, Billy Maddox, David Knight and Tony Sellier. Sen. Johnny Isakson took time out to send a form letter. Congressman Lynn Westmoreland is the only elected official at any level to have taken any action whatsoever or even respond to correspondence. E-mail the governor’s press office at Press@gov.state.ga.us to request he meet with Mrs. Peterman and other survivors while he is here.
