Assessors plan to hit the streets to begin revaluations in north Lamar County Monday, but the brand new House Bill 304 means they must give prior notice first. ”We can’t go to the door and knock. They have to have reasonable notice,” said chief appraiser Mayo. “We’re putting the notice up on the web and it will be running in the paper this week.”
