Atlantic Power Corp closed its public offering of 784,000 common shares at $13.35 per share. Much of that money will be invested in Barnesville. The company will invest up to $75 million in the Piedmont Green Power plant being constructed near the Barnesville waste water treatment plant off the MLK bypass near its intersection with Gordon Road.
