An incident which began when a couple were accosted and struck with a stick ended with thugs shooting up a car and two apartments at Willow Wind Apartments off Gordon Road near the recreation complex Sunday night. Officers were dispatched to 952 and 954 Willow Wind at about 9:15 p.m. They found three bullet holes in a vehicle and two rounds that struck above the porch area of the two low-income/Section 8 apartments. No one was injured. The apartments are a common area for calls to 911. Witnesses said they heard four or five shots fired and saw a white Ford Crown Victoria speed away from the scene. ”We are speaking with persons of interest at this time and the investigation is ongoing,” noted BPD investigator Al Moltrum.
