Autopsy results remain pending on Ethan Harris, a Lamar County one-year-old who died just days after his first birthday. Young Ethan was taken to Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta early May 13 and died May 14, according to coroner Jim Smith. Ethan was the son of Michael and Tiffany McFadden of 131 White Oak Drive. GBI spokesman John Bankhead said the cause of death determination in the McFadden case is pending further test results. Lisa Harris, who coordinates open records requests at GBI headquarters, said death cases generally complete in 120 days but cases involving children often take longer. Harris said the GBI opened its file on Ethan May 14 and that records showed the autopsy was not yet complete as of Wednesday afternoon.
