The community awards banquet which had been set for Saturday, June 7 has been cancelled due to catering complications, according to chamber president Bianca Romero.
“We have the nominees lists and will vote on the chamber awards soon. We plan to just do a small dinner with the winners instead of the banquet,” Romero said.
The decision to cancel was made at a chamber board meeting last week.
