The saga of alleged serial arsonist Travis Ball took another turn Thursday when he was freed from the Lamar County jail.Ball, who has been indicted on two arsons in Upson County, is charged with one arson here and is suspected in many more.He has not yet been indicted in Lamar County. Prosecutors are holding off to see the results of his trial in Upson. He has also drawn the interest of federal authorities.Ball was freed Thursday after being fitted with an ankle monitor. Sheriff Brad White said he was served with a habeas corpus notice regarding the most recent pickup of Ball.
