Swearing in ceremonies were held Thursday morning at the Barnesville city council chambers for Neal Devane, Chris Hightower and Mark Stone. Devane is newly elected to serve Ward 4. Stone is newly-elected to serve Ward 5. Hightower was elected to his Ward 2 seat in a special election and served for the past year. He was reelected without opposition for another four-year term.
