The Barnesville-Lamar County Library and Lamar County 4-H will host the second annual No-Carve Pumpkin Decorating Contest this fall season. The deadline to register is Friday, Oct. 14 by 5 p.m. at tinyurl.com/library4-Hpumpkindecocontest.
The no-carve contest is open to first through twelfth graders who live in Lamar County and all pumpkin entries will be on display at the library Oct. 24 to Oct. 31.

Entry forms must be submitted electronically before the decorated pumpkin is delivered to the library. Students who submit a pumpkin entry prior to the October 14 deadline will receive a confirmation email. Winners will be announced on October 22.
Pumpkins must be dropped off at the library’s community room from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18 and picked up between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 1.
