BARNESVILLE POLICE

Between Thursday, July 1, and Friday, July 9, the Barnesville police department made 11 arrests. Deana Cole, 402 Zebulon St., Barnesville, theft by taking, damage to property and possession of burglary tools; Johnny Flournoy, 120 Armstead Cir., Barnesville, battery, damage to property and obstruction of an officer; Willie Harris, 4403 Ashland Dr., Macon, probation violation; Prentice Head, 321 Bush Rd., Barnesville, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and terroristic threats; Curtis Jackson, 155 Mill St., Barnesville, resisting arrest and Lamar County warrants; India Jackson, 431 Atlanta St., Barnesville, theft by shoplifting; Dulles Smith, 207 Founders Dr., Barnesville, probation violation; David Sosebee, 402 Zebulon St., Barnesville, theft by taking, damage to property and possession of burglary tools; Timothy Stephens, 319 Elm St., Barnesville, discharging a firearm in the city limits; Israel Streetman, 281 Indian Trail, Barnesville, possession of marijuana; Norris Zellner, 13 Washington St., Barnesville, shoplifting. Officers answered 78 calls for service including five accidents, four alarms, 12 building checks, one burglary, one criminal trespass, three crowd control, one damage to property, one disturbance, 16 escorts, two fights, seven miscellaneous, three noise complaints, one sexual assault, two shoplifting, one shots fired, seven suspicious persons/vehicles, eight thefts and three 911 hang-ups. They issued 19 citations including one discharging a firearm in the city limits, one disorderly conduct, one failure to stop at stop sign, one giving false name to law enforcement, one laying drag, one possession of alcohol under age, one possession of marijuana, one reckless driving, one resisting arrest, two seat belt violations, six speeding and two shoplifting.
