BARNESVILLE POLICE

Between Saturday, July 17, and Friday, July 23, the Barnesville police department made eight arrests: Immanuel Babajide, 317 Caitlin St., Gay, entering an auto, theft by receiving stolen property and contributing to the delinquency of a minor; Dale Brown, 121 Matbeth Rd., Barnesville, criminal trespass; Sammie Furlow Jr., 397 Atlanta St., Barnesville, failure to appear; Corkeitha Hicks, 333 Freeman Ave., Forsyth, DUI and defective equipment; Reginald Smith, 350 Grove St., Barnesville, probation violation; Levictor Walker, 152 Mill St., Barnesville, simple battery and disorderly conduct; James Wright, 123 Washington St., Barnesville, DUI, driving while license suspended and defective equipment; Brandon Young, 119 12th St., Barnesville, failure to appear. Officers answered 93 calls for service including eight accidents, two alarms, 13 building security checks, three crowd control, four damage to property, six disturbances, six domestics, seven entering an auto, 22 escorts, one fight, seven miscellaneous, one prowler, one stolen vehicle, one suicide attempt, three suspicious persons/vehicles and three thefts. They issued 20 citations including one criminal trespass, two defective equipment, one disorderly conduct, one driving while license suspended, two DUI, one expired tag, one laying drag, two no insurance, one open container, one parking ticket, one simple battery and six speeding.
