Investigators remain tightlipped about the incident but it has been confirmed BPD investigators are working a home invasion that occurred overnight Monday in town. Details remain sketchy but initial indications are one or more masked suspects armed with assault weapons barged into an apartment at Piedmont Woods overnight. There is no information as to what was taken but reports indicate no one was seriously injured. Piedmont Woods is located on Gordon Road across from the recreation department complex. More to follow…
