Between Saturday, May 1, and Friday, May 7, the Barnesville police department made nine arrests:Shaquina Barnes, 108 14th St., Barnesville, theft of mislaid property, financial transaction card fraud, forgery and tampering with evidence.Tammara Byrd, 118 Kate Ct., Barnesville, financial transaction card fraud;Rafael Horton, 165 12th St., Barnesville, reckless driving;Markese Lewis, 1055 Buckhorn Bend, Locust Grove, possession of marijuana;Robert Mitchell, 2425 McIntosh Dr., Locust Grove, possession of marijuana;Bryan Thomas, 5212 Heron Bay Blvd., Locust Grove, possession of marijuana;Sadie Walker, 183 Adkins Rd., Barnesville, financial transaction card fraud;George Williams, 190 Deerfield Trace, Barnesville, theft by deception, financial transaction card fraud and financial transaction card theft.Christopher Worthy, 245 Atlanta St., Barnesville, possession of marijuana, driving while unlicensed, seat belt violation and improper equipped vehicle.Officers answered 86 calls for service including three accidents, two alarms, two EMS assists, 19 building security checks, one burglary, two criminal trespass, three crowd control, five damage to property, four disturbances, one dog complaint, three domestics, 18 escorts, one fight, two fraud, one harassment, one juvenile complaint, three miscellaneous, four noise complaints, six suspicious persons/vehicles, one terroristic threats, one theft, two traffic control and one 911 hang-up. They issued 51 citations including two disorderly house, two driving while unlicensed, three failure to stop at stop sign, one improperly equipped vehicle, one no license on person, four parking violations, five possession of marijuana, one reckless driving, two seat belt violations, 29 speeding and one window tint violation.
