Barnesville police report

Between Saturday, Sept. 11 and Friday, Sept. 17 the Barnesville police department made eight arrests:Felecia Brown, 907 Elder Berry Lane, Villa Rica, driving while license suspended and speeding;’ Michael Fincher, 2443 Hwy. 36 E., Jackson, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass;Jerrod Foster, 435 Elm St., Barnesville, driving while license suspended;Dustin Hammock, 185 Matbeth Rd., Barnesville, attempting to obtain dangerous drugs by fraud;Dewayne Johnson, 121 Westchester Dr., Barnesville, DUI and speeding;Sherkeva Manuel, 958 Willow Wind Cir., Barnesville, battery;Victoria McKemie, 185 Matbeth Rd., Barnesville, attempting to obtain dangerous drugs by fraud;Hugh Wynn, 170 Potato Creek Rd., The Rock, theft by shoplifting.Officers answered 71 calls for service including 10 accidents, four alarms, one EMS assist, 16 building security checks, one burglary, two damage to property, three disturbances, one dog complaint, three domestics, 13 escorts, one fight, one fraud, one harassment, seven miscellaneous, three noise complaints and four suspicious persons/vehicles. They issued 18 citations including one criminal trespass, one disorderly conduct, one DUI, one failure to obey traffic signal, three failure to stop at stop sign, one parking violation, seven speeding and one shoplifting.
