Barnesville police report

Between Saturday, Oct. 9, and Friday, Oct. 15, the Barnesville police department made four arrests: James Nelson Anderson, 200 Southland Dr., Barnesville, rape;  Joshua Fincher, 150 Ridge Crest Dr., Macon, possession of marijuana, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct; Kenneth Phillips, 18 Hooten St., McDonough, driving while license suspended; Antwain Pittman, 164 Freeman Ave., Forsyth, theft by taking. Officers answered 58 calls for service including three accidents, one alarm, one EMS assist, 12 building security checks, one burglary, three damage to property, four disturbances, four dog complaints, one domestic, four dog complaints, one domestic, 10 escorts, one fight, one fraud, three miscellaneous, one rape, one shoplifting, one suicide attempt, five suspicious persons/vehicles and four thefts. They issued 15 citations including one cruelty to animals, one disorderly conduct, one driving while license suspended, one expired tag, one failure to obey an officer directing traffic, one failure to stop at stop sign, one no insurance, one no truck zone violation, one possession of alcohol under age, one possession of marijuana, one resisting arrest, three speeding and one striking a pedestrian.
