Barnesville police report

Between Saturday, Oct. 16, and Friday, Oct. 22, the Barnesville police department made five arrests: Matthew Corley, 848 Hwy. 341, no. 107, Barnesville, Forsyth County warrant;  Jamira Dumas, 145 Akins St., Barnesville, theft by taking auto; Kathy Hamlett, 115 Carey J. Buckner, Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Morris Harden, 113 Westchester Dr., Barnesville, disorderly conduct; John Roberson, 968 Old River Rd., Sylvania, failure to appear. Officers answered 60 calls for service including six accidents, three alarms, one EMS assist, nine building security checks, two damage to property, four disturbances, two dog complaints, 17 escorts, one fight, one fraud, six miscellaneous, one sexual assault, one shoplifting, one stolen vehicle, two suspicious persons/vehicles, one theft, one traffic control and one 911 hang-up. They issued 16 citations including two disorderly conduct, two failure to obey traffic control device, one failure to stop at stop sign, one following too closely and 10 speeding.
