Between Friday, Nov. 5 and Friday, Nov. 12, the Barnesville police department made seven arrests:Jarvis Akins, 109 Kate Ct., Barnesville, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute;Reginald Campbell, 2004 Hillspring Lane, Lithonia, theft by shoplifting;Koonce Durayd, 10001 N. Euchatel Crest, Jonesboro, driving while license suspended and speeding;Christopher Harden, 101 Olivia Lane, Barnesville, theft by receiving stolen property;Daren Settles, 137 Bush St., Barnesville, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute;Shemier Walker, 517 N. 13th St., Griffin, disorderly conduct;Anijenie Watkins, 206 North St., Barnesville, aggravated assault.Officers answered 73 calls for service including seven accidents, five alarms, 15 building security checks, two burglaries, six disturbances, three dog complaints, one domestic, 14 escorts, two fights, one fraud, one harassment, six miscellaneous, one prowler, two shoplifting, three suspicious persons/vehicles, three traffic control and one 911 hang-up. They issued 28 citations including three disorderly conduct, one driving while license suspended, two failure to obey traffic control device, one loud music, one no insurance, five seat belt violations, one shoplifting, 13 speeding and one suspended registration.
