Barnesville police report

Between Saturday, Nov. 13, and Friday, Nov. 19, the Barnesville police department made five arrests: Levi Brooks, 110 12th St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Peter McLean Jr., 6236 Spring Water Lane, Lithonia, criminal damage to property, reckless conduct and possession of a firearm by a minor; Dennis Morris, 114 Kelly Rd., Griffin, disorderly conduct; Joanne Wilson, 300 Sims St., Barnesville, DUI and failure to maintain lane; British Wyke, 101 Olivia Lane, Barnesville, giving false name to law enforcement officer. Officers answered 62 calls for service including four accidents, one alarm, nine building security checks, two burglaries, two damage to property, five disturbances, one domestic, 12 escorts, three fights, three fraud, one gas drive-off, two harassments, three loud music, four miscellaneous, one shots fired, one suicide attempt, seven suspicious persons/vehicles and one traffic control. They issued 31 citations including two disorderly conduct, one disorderly house, one DUI, one failure to maintain lane, one giving false name to law enforcement officer, one loud music, one open container, one passing on a double yellow line, three seat belt violations, 17 speeding, one window tint and one wrong way on a one way street.
