Barnesville police report

Between Saturday, Feb. 4, and Friday, Feb. 11, the Barnesville police department made two arrests:Ian Brown, 323 Carleeta St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct;Evan Strickland, 4298 Ridgeside Terr., Snellville, shoplifting. Officers answered 66 calls for service including eight accidents, five alarms, 16 building security checks, two burglaries, three damage to property, two disturbances, two domestics, 16 escorts, three fights, one forgery, one harassment, one shoplifting, two suspicious persons/vehicles, two thefts, one welfare check and one 911 hang-up. They issued 15 citations including one disorderly conduct, one disorderly house, one failure to stop at stop sign, one seat belt violation, seven speeding, one shoplifting and two window tint violations.
