Between Saturday, March 20 and Friday, March 26, the Barnesville police department made the following arrests:Alfred Abercrombie, 528 Virginia St., Forsyth, theft by taking (auto);Jeff Abercrombie, 528 Virginia St., Forsyth, theft by taking (auto);Allen Alsobrooks, 148 Avenue G, Thomaston, failure to appear;Larjarvis Evans, 574 Chapell Mill Rd., Griffin, driving while license suspended and giving false name to law enforcement officer;Derona Foster, 212 Cabin Creek Dr., Griffin, driving while under the influence and striking a fixed object;Thomas Hardbuck III, 3264 Newnan Rd., Griffin, reckless driving;Jeremy Henderson, 1073 Hollywood Rd., Atlanta, probation violation;Tammy Warner, 131 Community House Rd., Barnesville, driving while under the influence and driving while license suspended.Officers answered 102 calls for service including five accidents, four alarms, one assist EMS, 18 building security checks, one crowd control, two damage to property, six disturbances, four dog complaints, one domestic, 26 escorts, seven miscellaneous, two noise complaints, three shots fired, one suicide attempt, 17 suspicious persons/vehicles, two thefts, one welfare check and one 911 hang up. They issued 29 citations including two driving while license suspended, two driving while under the influence, one expired tag, one giving false name to a law enforcement officer, one no insurance, 12 parking tickets, one reckless driving, one seatbelt violation, six speeding, one striking a fixed object, one suspended vehicle registration.
