Between Saturday, March 5, and Friday, March 11, the Barnesville police department made 19 arrests: Chayla Ansley, 32 Michael Etchison Cir., Monroe, possession of marijuana; Sean Butler, 6536 Rebecca Lou Lane, Lithonia, possession of marijuana; Dominique Davis, 30 Ellenwood Ct., Newnan, possession of marijuana; Wanda Davis, 2105 Hwy. 341, Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Dwight Dugar, address unknown, Irwinton, possession of marijuana; Dedrick Evans, 3183 Rexland Place, Mufreesboro, Tenn., driving while license suspended; Joniecia Favors, 8217 Tudor Dr., Jonesboro, possession of marijuana; Diane Gillespie, 106 Owens Lane, Barnesville, obstruction of an officer and disorderly conduct; Deshon Gunby, 3350 Steelway, Decatur, possession of marijuana; Gavin Harris, address unknown, Gordon, possession of marijuana and open container; India Harris, 405 Woodberry Place, Decatur, possession of marijuana; Malik Jackson, 169 Bark Ave., Central Islip, N.Y., possession of marijuana; Malcolm Johnson, 675 Elam Forest Ct., Stone Mountain, possession of marijuana; Eric Milam, 202 Southerness Court, Stockbridge, possession of marijuana, no insurance and failure to maintain lane; Kerry Overton, 10948 Big Sky Dr., Hampton, possession of cocaine; Rodney Parker III, 6014 Duren Meadows Dr., Lithonia, possession of marijuana; Oscar Polanco, 644 Vaughan Dr., Hampton, possession of marijuana; Quteavis Simmons, address unknown, Gordon, possession of marijuana; Kervens Sycin, 627 Greenwood St., Barnesville, theft by shoplifting. Officers answered 60 calls for service including three accidents, one alarm, 21 building security checks, three burglaries, two crowd control, one damage to property, two disturbances, one dog complaint, three domestics, 10 escorts, one fraud, one harassment, one juvenile complaint, three miscellaneous, one prowler, two shoplifting, one suicide attempt and three suspicious persons/vehicles. They issued 27 citations including one disorderly conduct, one driving while license suspended, one expired tag, one failure to maintain lane, one failure to stop at stop sign, one no insurance, one no license on person, one open container, 14 possession of marijuana, one shoplifting and four speeding.
