Between Saturday, May 7, and Friday, May 13, the Barnesville police department made five arrests:Immanuel Babajide, 317 Caitlyn Ct., Gray, possession of marijuana;Jessie Burke, 308 Old 41 Hwy., Griffin, driving while license suspended and giving false name to law enforcement;Gregory Fietsam, 133 McIntosh Trail, Griffin, child molestation and contributing to the delinquency of a minor;Jonothan Smith, 316 Johnson St., Barnesville, DUI, failure to maintain lane and failure to yield;Larry Walker, 147 Mill St., Barnesville, simple battery.Officers answered 67 calls for service including three accidents, five alarms, 21 building security checks, one burglary, one crowd control, two damage to property, one disturbance, one dog complaint, 14 escorts, two fights, one juvenile complaint, four miscellaneous, one shoplifting, two domestics, four suspicious persons/vehicles and three thefts. They issued 10 citations including one disorderly conduct, one disorderly house, one driving while license suspended, one DUI, one failure to maintain lane, one failure to yield, one giving false name to law enforcement, one possession of marijuana, one simple battery and one speeding.
