Barnesville police report

Between Friday, April 13, and Friday, April 20, the Barnesville police department made five arrests:Fredrick Andrews, 23, 401 Westchester Dr., Barnesville, DUI, resisting arrest, giving false name to law enforcement officer and defective equipment;Jimelle Goodrum, 21, 200 Southland Dr., Apt. B-2, Barnesville, disorderly conduct;Warnette Johnson, 21, 200 Southland Dr., Apt. B-2, Barnesville, disorderly conduct;Cybile-Marth Tranquille, 17, 325 Zebulon St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct;Ralph Cheeves, 21, 875 High Falls Rd., Barnesville, disorderly conduct.Officers answered 153 calls for service and issued 30 citations.BARNESVILLE BBQ AND BLUES FESTIVALThe Barnesville police department wants everyone to have a safe and good time during this year’s event. Please be reminded that no alcoholic beverages are allowed in or near the kids park and fun city. Those attending the Saturday night concert at the Ritz Park are not allowed to bring in alcohol nor coolers. No loitering outside the concert area. Golf cart violations will be enforced.
